2021, Arizona Trip Pt 2 (Jerome, 6/4/21)
I knew it would be a fruitful trip when I was seeing lifers on the ride from the airport, and my first day of poking around Jerome, AZ provided me plenty of lifers, a closeup with a javalina, and the realization that IDing female hummingbirds was a lot tougher in a region hosting more than one common species.

2021 Arizona Trip, Pt 1 (Wisconsin, Twin Cities)
The last few weeks have been packed with birding, as I embarked on a trip down to Arizona (Yavapai county, specifically). But before I hopped on the plane, I managed a few walks through the Kane Meadows in Blaine, Minnesota, and also hopped over to Wisconsin for a morning at Kinnickinnick State Park, making a few short stops on the way back to the Twin Cities.
